Gram Vikas has 37 years of experience in promoting sustainable and equitable processes to enable the rural poor and marginalized to achieve a dignified quality of life. We believe experienced and dedicated national and international volunteers can be assets in their support provided to Gram Vikas. The unique opportunity will enable you to:
Work and interact with people from different backgrounds, enhancing your professional and personal skills.
Gain an insight into the development sector and more specific areas that you will work on.
Engage with meaningful projects in the field locations of Gram Vikas and add value to them.
Know you have contributed in a beneficial way to the mission of Gram Vikas.
Gram Vikas volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and have the opportunity to take up a valued role within the organization where they can contribute their skills and ideas. We recommend a minimum period of 2 months and a maximum of 11 months. Throughout this time volunteers will be supported by a mentor in their area of work. Volunteers should be enrolled in a bachelorís or masterís degree, have fluency in written and spoken English and be able to adapt to different situations. In certain cases, depending on the skill sets, a nominal stipend may be negotiable.
Volunteering opportunities are currently available at different project sites across the organization. If you are interested, kindly fill up the Volunteer Application Form and we will get back to you.
