10th Earth Care Awards 2022 for Community-based Climate Action
Gram Vikas won the 10th Earth Care Awards 2022 by JSW and The Times of India group under the category of Community-based Climate Action for increasing the resilience capacity of the communities to tackle challenges arising out of climate change. The award recognised our work in Social and Agroforestry project restoring 540 acres of degraded land in Kalahandi.

Gram Vikas won the ISC-FICCI Sanitation Award 2018 for the ‘Best Non-Profit Engagement Model in Sanitation’. The award acknowledged the impact of MANTRA approach in reaching 75,000 families and 1311 villages to create their own sanitation and water infrastructure, benefitting more than 3.6 lakh persons.

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) recognised ‘MANTRA’ approach as one of the ‘Good Practices in Rural Development Sector’. The Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana under MoRD invited Gram Vikas to showcase the award-winning approach at the National Workshop on Good Practices in Rural Development Sector, 23-24 September 2015. It was one of the seven good practices chosen to be featured in a compendium and for audio-video documentation by MoRD
