The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Gram Vikas and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL)

Gram Vikas launched its flagship programme of Water & Sanitation under the banner "Movement and Action Network for Transformation of Rural Areas” (MANTRA) in five villages of Jharsuguda and Sundergarh districts of Odisha with support from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Mr. B Sairam, General Manager (CSR) of MCL and Mr. Liby T Johnson, Executive Director of Gram Vikas in the presence of Mr. L. N. Mishra, Director (Personnel) of MCL on 17 February, 2018. Gram Vikas will facilitate Community-owned Piped-Water Supply Systems and Household Toilet & Bathing Room which would cover five villages and benefit 364 families. The project aims to develop sustainable and environment friendly infrastructure in order to deliver safe sanitation and hygiene practices in the villages.
