The Governing Board of Gram Vikas has development practitioners, academicians and professionals from the field of Management and Law. Presently it has 13 members. The top most decision-making body in Gram Vikas is its Governing Board. The Governing Board has all the necessary power to carry out the objects of the organization and for the management of its affairs.

The Governing Board is elected from the General Body. The board has developed by-laws to guide the functioning, roles and responsibilities of the members as well as the organisation. The members of the Governing Board hold office for a period of 3 years at a time and that period will end always with the conclusion of an Annual General Body Meeting.
